This multi-use recreational facility is situated just south of Murphys on the west side of Highway 4. Feeney Park is a space dedicated to recreation and the arts alike and is designed to be a reflection of the community’s goodwill. It operates as a non-profit California Corporation on donations and is run exclusively by volunteers. There’s convenient parking and field access from a lot just off Pennsylvania Gulch Road. If you’re traveling to the park east from Angels Camp, Highway 4 towards Murphys gets you right where you need to go.

Park Amenities
Customizing your day out at Feeney Park is a breeze thanks to the long lineup of amenities available to enjoy. Feeney Park hosts fields, a disc golf course, a snack bar, green spaces, picnic areas, and an amphitheater as well. If you’re interested in reserving these amenities, you can make arrangements in advance for a fee. The upper and lower fields can be reserved together upon request as well as the disc golf course when some friendly competition would go a long way toward the fun.
Events
Feeney Park is spacious and inviting, making it a popular place for annual events to be hosted. If you happen to be in town over Earth Day, you can swing by the park to enjoy the view and fun while also contributing to the annual spruce up event. Every year at this time, community members gather to celebrate Earth Day by taking time to give the park some love. Volunteer jobs available to help with include weeding, disc golf tee repair, raking, and painting. Food and beverages are provided to make your efforts savory and it’s a wonderful way to connect with the local community while you’re here. Feeney Park also hosts a Feeney Fling Disc Golf Tournament each year. Participants can put their skills to the test in good company while enjoying the t-shirt, stickers, and koozies that come as part of the experience. Registration fees for this event go back toward supporting the park which is something everyone can feel great about.

Feeney Park is a fantastic place to enjoy a picnic lunch with family and friends thanks to the collection of picnic tables and scenic areas to settle into when you visit. Afterward, there are smooth walking paths to explore around the upper and lower fields where you can spend some time playing a game of soccer if you’re up for it too. Dogs are more than welcome to enjoy the park alongside their owners and depending on when you arrive, you might be just in time to enjoy outdoor entertainment at the amphitheater. The 18-hold disc golf course is always a treat while guests who have perfected their balance will be thrilled to find easy access to a skate park complete with quarter pipes and ramps located near the back parking lot by the lower fields.
