Tennis Getaway Packages in Murphys, CA

The Courtwood Inn packages are for teams and groups staying in three or more of our mini-suites.  They are primarily designed for stays Monday through Thursday.

 

 

Smash Package

Book 3-6 rooms for a 2-night stay

Day 1:

  • Early check-in (based on availability) 12:00-3:00
  • Reserved courts for afternoon play 2:00–5:00
  • Wine tasting and appetizers 5:30-6:00
  • Dinner on your own in Murphys; dessert du jour when you return.

Day 2:

  • Deluxe breakfast 8:30-9:30
  • Reserved courts for morning play 10:00-12:00
  • Reserved courts for afternoon play 2:00-5:00
  • Wine party with blind tasting of local wines and prizes 5:00-6:00

Day 3:

  • Deluxe breakfast 8:30-9:30
  • Reserved courts for morning play 9:30-11:00
  • Check out by noon

Ace Package

Book 3-6 rooms for a 3-night stay; 10% discount on room rate applies.

Days 1 and 2 are the same as the Smash Package.

Day 3:

  • Deluxe breakfast 8:30-9:30
  • Morning open for sightseeing, shopping, lunch, or tennis on your own.
  • Coached round robin play 2:00-4:00; open play 4:00-5:00
  • Wine tasting and appetizers 5:30-6:30
  • Casual farewell dinner and dessert at the inn 6:30-8:00

Day 4:

  • Deluxe breakfast 8:30-9:30
  • Reserved courts for morning play 9:30-11:00
  • Check out by noon

Golden Set Package

Bring your USPTA/PTR certified pro with you

  • Your pro will receive a complimentary room and will organize all your on-court activities.

Silver Set Package

  • Group instruction/drills with Larry @ $120/hr
  • Private lessons with Larry @ $105/hr

Select Spring/Fall Weekend Package

For bookings of 3 or more mini-suites on both Friday and Saturday nights
Available September – May

Friday:

  • Check-in Friday 3-7pm
  • If 3 rooms are booked:  1 1/2 hours of reserved court time on one court ( if available, other court may also be used)
  • If 4 or 5 rooms are booked:  1 1/2 hours of reserved court time on both courts
  •   ‘Wine and Cheese’ 5:30-6pm

Saturday: 

  •  Deluxe breakfast 8:30-9:30am
  • Reserved court(s) for morning play 10:30am-noon
  •  Walk-on courts for afternoon play 12-5pm
  • ‘Wine and Cheese’ 5:30-6pm

Sunday:

  • Deluxe Breakfast 8:30-9:15am
  • Reserved court(s) for morning play 9:15-10:45
  • Check-out 11am

Policies:  All regular Courtwood Inn cancellation and inn policies apply

Chris and Larry Parker are the owners of Courtwood Inn.  Chris was formerly National USPTA Player of the Year, and a tennis director in the Bay Area for over 15 years.  Larry played varsity tennis at Cal/Berkeley, competed at Wimbledon, Australian Open, and US Open, and was formerly NorCal USPTA Pro of the Year and Player of the Year.  Both have coached players of all levels, from beginners to nationally ranked.
